Recently a Town in Maine has received notifications of a new scam targeting town residents submitting applications for building permits and zoning permits. The scam involves emailing these applicants invoices for application fees and services from the town. The emails can look very legitimate.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out to the Town Office at 603-763-4805 if you receive an email from the Town that you feel is suspicious.
